instrument rental/purchase information
All of the music stores listed below are highly recommended by our Edgewood music staff. They all have instruments of outstanding quality, with repair technicians available when needed. Please explore all of these options before you make your decision on where to rent/purchase your instrument, and feel free to send us any questions or concerns.

Orchestra Rental Flyer-Spring 2024.pdfEvery child should be able to play the instrument they would like to play. If you have financial concerns about renting from a music store please contact your music teacher. We have school instruments available for student use.
String instruments come in various sizes. Orchestra students should have their instrument size checked by the music store representative or teacher during their instrument fittings. We do not recommend purchasing string instruments in 5th grade, please plan on renting an instrument unless your student is a full size.
