mCLASS DIBELS

We use DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) for all students in grades K–6 to quickly identify reading challenges early and meet state guidelines.

Using short, one-minute measures, DIBELS assesses foundational reading skills including phonological awareness (hearing sounds in words), phonics (connecting sounds to letters), and reading fluency. Specifically, DIBELS 8th Edition helps identify students at risk for reading difficulties, including dyslexia.

Results guide our MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) framework to deliver targeted, immediate support where each student needs it most.
