Family Conversations with The CARE Team provide an opportunity for students and caregivers/parents to learn about a topic together and discuss that topic in the moment, through guided conversation. Workshops will help students build self-esteem and contribute to school engagement. Live workshops are available. Families may also access the presentation slides if they choose to work through the workshop on their own. Family workshops are offered once a month.

Option 1: Live Attendance- Attend a family workshop with Zoom. Students and families attend together.
Option 2: Self-paced- Sit down with your family and work through the presentation slides together, without attending the workshop facilitated by a counselor.

This will be a fun-filled experience to learn about growth mindset through guided discussion and games! We will engage by defining growth mindset and explaining why they are important. We will elevate by talking about the skills you will need to promote a growth mindset. We hope to empower you by providing practical activities to boost your skills.
