The CARE Team Club is an opportunity for every student, not just those signed up for counseling services, to participate in lessons that will help develop social-emotional skills.
Students will learn about and explore a special social-emotional skill in a 20-30 minute class. Each class will focus on a special topic. They are designed to supplement everyday experiences and what students learn in class and at home. These classes are not intended as therapy and should not take the place of specialized individual or group counseling services. CARE Team Club classes are designed as a social-emotional skill boost from which any student may benefit.
Once a CARE Team Club request is received, students will be grouped appropriately and scheduled to best accommodate students' academic schedules. Please submit RSVPs by the 10th day of each month.
