Implementation:
Our district uses a PANORAMA Survey to determine the needs of our students. Based on the information we receive from this report, we target skills our students need. Based on the Panorama survey results, our efforts to concentrate on classroom effort, grit and self management, were successful as each of those categories showed growth from the 2022-2023 school year, to this current academic year. This year's efforts will target growth mindset, self efficacy and emotional regulation.
District Counseling Plan:
Weslaco ISD has a week by week curriculum available to all elementary school counselors to use and adjust to their needs and personality. We also have a wide variety of curriculums available to blend together and compile an effective lesson. (Ripple Effects, Panorama, Leader In Me & Second Step)
