Educational extension activities are an important part of the Windermere Preparatory School experience. We believe that well-planned field trips afford an experiential learning opportunity that cannot be duplicated in the classroom. We find them to play an integral role in increasing student knowledge and understanding of a subject, add a sense of realism to the topic of study, and provide an opportunity to develop and enhance a student’s socialization and citizenship skills.

Lower School Field Trips

Lower School students have the opportunity to experience exciting educational field trips to locations such as Disney's Magic Kingdom (Hall of Presidents), SeaWorld, Southern Hills Farm, Central Florida Zoo, Brevard Zoo, Kennedy Space Center, St. Augustine, Orlando Shakespeare Theater, Orlando Science Center,  and the Sleuth Mystery Dinner Theater. 


Lower School also welcome many  “in house” field trips where hands-on experiences and experts come to us!
