*The ELA EOG is passage based; students are given Fiction, Non-Fiction and Poetry passages and asked to answer text based questions. The following are some examples of similar passage types/questions they may see; many are from different states, but provide good practice with similar passages/questions as students will see on the NC Test
Choose "English Language Arts Practice Test"
Choose "Grade 4 Computer Based Practice"
When it says "Enter Name" Type in "Guest" then click Start
*There are released passages and items shared by North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI) but we will be using them in the classroom*
Another good way to practice for the Reading EOG is to build up reading "stamina". Students can practice "sustained reading" by reading their own books/selections to practice reading for longer amounts of time to prepare.
