Hi everyone and welcome to 4th grade! My name is Mrs. Pittman. This is my eighth year teaching and my fourth year at New Hope. I have taught 3rd and 5th grade and this will be my first year in 4th grade. I graduated from Barton College in 2019 and have my Bachelor degree in Elementary Education. I am also a proud product of Wilson County Schools and I am so elated to be back teaching in the school district that provided me with so much.
My husband and I welcomed our daughter Ellie last year. It has been so much fun watching her grow, and in October we will have a one year old! When not at school, I enjoy shopping, going to the beach and spending time with my family.
I can't wait for us to learn, explore, and grow together this school year!
My name is Charity Nichols. I was born and raised here in Wilson, North Carolina. I hold a BA in Elementary Education and a Minor in the Arts from Barton College. This is my 19th year teaching. During that time I have taught in Johnston and Wilson Counties and have taught 3rd, 4th, and 9-12 Visual Arts!
I have a wonderful husband, 2 fabulous daughters, and one spunky son. We also have 2 dogs named Jagger and Chase. When I'm not teaching I love spending time with my family and being very creative. I also love going to dinners with family and friends, going to the movies, spending time with my girls and of course my son.! I look forward to getting to work with all of my wonderful students this year as well.
My name is Nicole Hunt. I was born and raised in Lucama, North Carolina and attended Wilson County Schools for elementary, middle, high school. I attended Barton College and graduated with a BS in Elementary Education. I have taught at New Hope for 24 years, which includes 6 years in 4th, 12 years in 1st grade, and 6 years in 3rd grade.
I have a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful daughters. My oldest daughter, who is currently a freshman at UNC Wilmington, is 18 years old and my youngest daughter, who is currently in 5th grade, is 10 years old at New Hope.
I enjoy playing the piano, reading books, walking, taking trips, and eating at delicious restaurants with family!
I look forward to working with everyone this year!
