Year 6 SEND Coffee Morning

Dear Parents/Carers

We are delighted to welcome your son/daughter to Wilmington Academy. Starting a new school is an exciting adventure but it can also be a daunting experience for some students and their families. This is quite natural and understandable too. 

As this is an important development in your child’s school life, we are keen to ensure that the transition from primary to secondary school is as smooth as possible for both parents/carers and children.

With this in mind, we would like to invite parents of SEND students only to an informal Coffee Morning on Friday 14th June 9.00am - 10.15am to provide further details on the transition programme, outline the expectations, meet the SEND team and answer any questions you may have.
