After analyzing the assessment and entering your results in the R & E TEKS Frequency Google Sheet linked above, discuss the following questions. Record your answers on chart paper. We will come back together as a team and do a gallery walk of the findings at each grade level.

  • Title your chart by the grade level you are working on.

  • List all academic vocabulary used:

  • What grammar concepts are most commonly assessed?

  • List types of guiding and assessment questions you might use.

  • Thinking Stems: Using academic vocabulary and questions, create thinking stems for students (suggestion - turn questions into thinking stems)
