Year 5

It has been a busy few days for Year 5 as we settle into our new routine on the top floor of the school! We have really enjoyed meeting our new form tutors, Miss Brown and Miss Beere, and getting to meet all of our new teachers. In English, we wrote book reviews so Mrs Battey could see what we like to read. In Humanities, Mrs Draper tested our source evaluation and critical thinking skills as we tried to solve the 'lost bag mystery'. In Geography we began our new topic, Sustainable World, and explored the difference between linear and circular economies. Drama with Miss Wilkinson was really fun too, especially introducing ourselves using alliteration.  We were also excited to have our first art lesson with Miss Beere - it was really fun! Having lots of new teachers to get to know has been good, but tiring - we are all ready for a rest over the weekend!
