Year 4 pupils have settled into their new school year splendidly, quickly getting into the swing of their lessons with remarkable enthusiasm. They’ve embarked on their first topic in math's, exploring the concept of place value. In preparation for their upcoming science lessons, the children have been learning about safety in the lab.
In English, they’ve shown creativity and reflection by writing personal recounts of a day from their summer holidays, sharing experiences and moments that were important to them.
Perhaps the most exhilarating activity has been our Friday morning, 'Debating Time'. This week's lively discussion centered around the question, "Are video games good for us?", sparked spirited opinions and we wonder what you think about it?
The enthusiasm and engagement with which Year 4 have approached their lessons and new activities have filled us with pride. As teachers, we are delighted with the positive start to the year and eagerly anticipate the journey ahead. Thank you, parents, for your continued support. We look forward to another fantastic week of learning and growth.
