Our Mission

The Wildlife Disease Association Canada/USA Section is dedicated to promoting the health of wildlife and the ecosystems they inhabit across North America. Our members include scientists, veterinarians, students, conservationists, and community members who share a commitment to understanding and managing wildlife diseases for the benefit of animals, people, and the environment.

At WDA CANUSA, our mission is to advance the study and communication of wildlife health by fostering collaboration, supporting research and education, and sharing knowledge that contributes to conservation and sustainable coexistence. We believe that healthy wildlife and healthy ecosystems are essential to the well-being of all species, and we strive to connect individuals and organizations who are working toward that shared goal.
