Dr. Miller received her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Oklahoma State University. She has worked as a full-time wildlife veterinarian for 25 years, left that specialty to work for other wildlife organizations, including Fish & Wildlife and the Bradywine Zoo, and is now an Associate Professor in wildlife medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. As a professor, she remains active in wildlife rehabilitation and helps coordinate emergency responses for wildlife. Dr. Miller has a breadth of experience in wildlife medicine, spanning all aspects of the profession. If you are interested in any sector of wildlife health, this is the talk for you!

Alysa Rleigh is an aquatic, reptile, and amphibian health specialist for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. She has served as both an Environmental Manager and Fish & Wildlife Health Biologist for the state of Indiana. She received her master's degree in Biological Sciences from Purdue University and has a passion for helping our Midwest herps! If you love herps, you won't want to miss the chance to learn from this specialist. March 3, 2026, 4:00-5:00 CST: Dr. Tony Goldberg.
Dr. Goldberg began his education at Amherst College and then pursued a PhD in Biological Anthropology at Harvard. After receiving his doctorate, he attended the University of Illinois to obtain his DVM. He now works at the Department of Pathobiological Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on the ecology, epidemiology, and evolution of infectious diseases by combining field and laboratory studies to understand how pathogens in dynamic ecosystems are transmitted among hosts, across complex landscapes, and over time. Dr. Goldberg has valuable insight, combining multiple disciplines to enhance conservation of human, animal, and environmental health.
