We are learning how to use oil pastels and watercolor paint to make line creatures. We are also learning how to collage and making parts to a whole.

We are learning about the secondary colors, green orange and purple. We are going to read the book "Mouse Paint" by Ellen Stoll Walsh and make 3 clay mice that mix the primary colors into the secondary colors.

Kindergarten artists are exploring shapes and landscapes!
We are learning how we can use shapes to make art. We will use shapes to make houses in a snowy landscape inspired by the artist Grandma Moses.

We read the book "Little Butterfly" by Laura Logan and created a butterfly for our annual butterfly hallway of kindness.
