Giving a voice to those who don't have one

In June, 2019 Australia was experiencing some of the worst bush fires the country had ever seen. Animals all across their respective habitats were perishing with nowhere to go. A couple months later, in August, 2019 the Amazon rain forest in Brazil had smoke clouds appearing out of it. Then one thing led to another, and one of the most diverse and pristine ecosystems in the world was rapidly burning out. This was hardly getting media coverage, and even I was unfortunate enough to learn about the horrific event until maybe a month later. It upset and shocked me that so many beautiful creatures that were already on the verge of extinction were having their species threatened everyday that we didn't do something. This whole portfolio of animals started off being a message of activism, but it quickly developed into an astounded interest in the different types of species that walk the same planet we do. I made the pieces look extra loud and contrast their colors because I wanted to give it the same attention the animals featured in them needed.
