Boy in Garden

A boy was playing in his mothers garden, searching for caterpillars, when he heard the ice-cream truck. He asked the man for vanilla, he said why don't you come inside and you can make it yourself. Wouldn't that be cool? The boy thought so, and stepped in. but there was no ice cream, and the man suddenly looked much scarier as he reached for him.

GRIEVING Wolf-man

Everyday, the ice-cream man injected the boy with something that made his bones hurt. Five years later, and he was trapped in a cage, and his bones still hurt. He had no idea what was happening to him, except he looked somewhat like the neighbors yellow lab . He cried because he missed that dog and the garden and his mother. He cried over his lost freedom and his aching bones.

Free WOlf-man

The Ice-cream man doesn't realize how strong the boy had become as another four years pass. He's a man now. He breaks free from his chains and from that cage. He reaches for his oppressor, so small compared to him. He wants to make his bones ache, he wants to shove him into that cage so he knows what its like to lose his freedom. But he doesn't. He breaks through the glass doors at the top of the stairs and makes for the hills.

dying wolf-man

Many years pass and the man had grown sick. His bones were frail from growing too fast and he had gone nearly blind. But his mother had finally let him go. She had arthritis in her hands and stiffness in her back and could no longer keep the weeds out of the garden. But she still remembered how her son used to find caterpillars and raise them in mason jars until they flew away.
