This is my AP Studio Art Concentration. My pieces show the importance of believing in something bigger than yourself, whether that be their higher self, god, or even the natural order of the universe. I decided to use eyes as the symbol throughout my pieces. Eyes are the window to the soul, it is where the truth really lays in a person. I wanted to use human anatomy in my pieces to experiment with the ways I could draw and manipulate the body to fit the way I believe made the most sense in terms of what I am trying to express. Also because I wanted to have the direct connection of human and “divine power”.
