Students talked about what tradition means and then discussed traditional or special meals that each of us have.  We looked at artists that create realistic food sculpture and then spent time planning in our sketchbooks.  Students watched a demonstration of clay building techniques and then practiced with Playdough.  They will be building their special food out of clay during our last class before winter break.
