Ms. Nelson

Hello, my name is Haley Nelson. I am the art teacher at Webster Hill. This is my 6th year teaching in West Hartford, and my 4th year teaching Art Quest.  My philosophy of teaching is based on the quote “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”  by Pablo Picasso. I love that I get to introduce so many of my students to the art world, and instill a love of being creative. It is a skill that can benefit everyone throughout their lifetime. I also run a small business called Red Head Ceramics where I sell my pottery and handbound sketchbooks.
