This new year all Andrews staff and students are getting welcomed and greeted to a new grade with lots of support and high energy. New year, new us. We hope for the best school year for our staff and classmates. Lots of things have changed this new school year as in the bathroom policy rules, phones, and many others we will mention in this article.

First, let's talk about the new bathroom policy. Mrs. Mazariego has announced all middle school bathrooms will be locked during all breaks and passing periods. This new policy also requires students to enter and use the bathroom one at a time. Students now also have to scan a QR code before leaving and entering the classroom.

Now, let's speak on the new phone policy our school has set. Phones are to remain in the backpacks at all times. If a phone is seen within school hours, it will be confiscated and sent to the office for parents to pick up.

Finally, let's talk about the dress code system staff has arranged. Apparently, students will not be warned about their clothes more than twice before receiving minor ODRS. If the warnings continue, students will receive major ODRS.
