To be eligible for the $500 LM Scholarship Program a student must:
Be currently enrolled or expect to be enrolled in a degree program (2 years of length or greater) by September.
Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submit an answer to the essay question prior to the submission deadline.
Be a US resident or a Canadian resident and must also attend a school in Canada or the US.
Essay Topic:
Write an Essay about a situation you have been involved in or someone you know has been involved in where better safety procedures would have prevented an injury. Explain in detail what safety procedures you believe should have been in place to prevent the injury and how they would have prevented the injury.
Note: In your essay do NOT write specific names of people, businesses, or places. An essay that contains information about any specific business or people associated with the business will be disqualified.

Founder/Senior Pastor of Now Faith Ministries. She served faithfully for over 23 years.

Pureland Supply has been selling high quality replacement projector lamps to various universities, schools, and government entities since 1997. We understand the importance of skilled trades in our society and appreciate those who learn and perform specific trade, craft or labor occupations.
The $500.00 Pureland Supply Scholarship is available to students who have been accepted to an accredited trade school, vocational college, technical school or community college for the study of trade, craft, or labor occupations. Recipients are chosen on their ability to describe how their chosen trade or field plays an important role in today’s world and why this is the path they have chosen.

Red Dirt Hat Company will select scholarship recipients based on scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, leadership qualities and an essay.
Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the college, technical school or university upon proof of enrollment.
If the recipient is unable to attend college during the Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 term, the scholarship will not be paid.

The Fly High Project is a non-profit organization based in East Texas. We are dedicated to making a positive impact by donating butterfly kits to all first grade classrooms within our community. We chose first grade as the primary grade to receive these kits due to the fact that this is the year that the life cycle is taught in. We are doing this in memory and honor of Kayla Gomez-Orozco, a former friend and classmate who passed away in 2016. This is a scholarship dedicated in her name.

The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship (STAR) was established in 2009 to provide scholarships for exceptional women in their final year of high school to attend an accredited postsecondary educational institution in the U.S. or Canada in the next academic year. The award amount is $2,500.
A woman is eligible for consideration for a STAR Scholarship if she:
Is recommended by a local chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood
Is a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States or Canada
Has a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Exhibits excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service and potential for future success
Plans to attend an accredited postsecondary education institution in the United States or Canada full time or part time in the fall of the academic year following her high school graduation
