CollegeBoard's Opportunity Scholarship
Students complete six activities for a chance to win at a $500 scholarship for each activity. If students complete all six activities, they will be entered into a chance to win a $40,000 scholarship. Please see the timeline below on when each activity ends throughout the year. Note that two of the activities must be completed by the end of October.
Seniors:

The Terry Traditional Scholarship, or Freshman Scholarship, is awarded to Texas high school seniors who have been accepted for admission to one of the Terry-affiliated public universities in Texas.
Demonstrated financial need (as evidenced by the completion of the FAFSA)
Be a U.S. citizen or a Permanent Resident and meet Texas residency requirements
Qualify for in-state tuition and for federal financial aid assistance
Graduation from an accredited Texas high school or Texas homeschool
Apply and commit to residing on campus, in the Terry-designated residence hall, for the first year
Applications for the Terry Scholarship are available only from the universities affiliated with the Terry Scholarship Program and are not available from the Foundation or from high schools.
