In order to access your Field Experience Page, complete the following steps:
Log into your student portal.
Click on the student support tab in the upper right hand corner.
On the drop down menu, select "Field Experience."
In a separate window, your Field Experience page will automatically load.
Your Field Experience page has two very important checklists. Those checklists include:
PCE Approval Requirements
DT Approval Requirements
Both checklists outline requirements that must be completed before PCE and DT. Once you have completed a requirement, your checklist will be updated to reflect that you have completed it.
Upon being enrolled in your program you will be put into "Application Incomplete" status. You will remain in this status until you have all of your PCE Approval Requirements. From then on you will be marked as "Under Review" status until your Placement Coordinator reviews your application.
If you have selected a school district that requires WGU to secure your PCE placement on your behalf, your status will show "PCE Placement Required." Once your Placement Coordinator has begun to work on your placement, your status will show "PCE Placement in Progress."
It is very important that you contact your Placement Coordinator 6 months prior to needing a PCE placement if your preferred district requires WGU to place you.
