Prison Letters

OVERVIEW

Prison Letters assists individuals incarcerated in detention facilities seeking legal resources and information. Inmates can request specific legal resources, such as cases or statutes and students conduct the research and send the information back to the detainee for their review. This project not only provides incarcerated individuals with much-needed legal resources, facilitating a better understanding of the relevant law to their case but allows law students to sharpen their legal research skills. This project operates in collaboration with Wake Forest Law's Innocence and Justice Legal Clinic.
