OVERVIEW
Know Your Rights (KYR) serves minority community members and students who have higher chances of interacting with law enforcement. Through educational presentations, law students provide the community with legal information on their constitutional rights when interacting with law enforcement. The project also distributes Know Your Rights “bust cards” (linked below) which summarize an individual’s basic constitutional rights. This project does not provide legal advice to community members on issues of law enforcement interactions.
