Wrestling

Tryouts:

• There are no tryouts for the wrestling team, everyone is on the team and everyone will have the opportunity to compete.  

• Wrestlers should wear shorts and a T-shirt for practice

• Wrestling shoes and a headgear are required for practices and matches.(if you have any questions please email coach LaValle)

• LATE BUSES are at 4:30

The LMS wrestling program is a competitive team. 

• We are scheduled for multiple dual meets, scrimmages, and workouts with other schools.

• Our practices will consist of wrestling workouts as well as strength and conditioning training.

Practice:

• Monday - Thursday. There are no weekend commitments.

• There are no practices on half days, days school is closed, and inclement weather. Wrestlers will be notified via announcement if practice is canceled and should go home.  

• Attendance is required and expected unless communicated via the player or parent before the practice. We will run a wrestling Google Classroom for all communication.

• All athletes are REQUIRED to take the late buses home unless their parent is at LMS to pick them up.  If the late buses are about to leave and YOUR ride is not at LMS you MUST ride the late buses home.

Games: 

• We are still working on our schedule. Most matches start at 4pm - 5:30pm

• Parents are responsible for transportation after Home and Away matches.  A Bus will take athletes home (Back to LMS) from away matches and parents must pick their child up upon returning to LMS unless a Transportation sheet is signed off to take athletes home from away games.
