Cheerleading

Tryouts:

• TRYOUTS will begin 11/20 (Listen to announcements for further information regarding Grade Level)

• Players should bring t-shirt, shorts/leggings, socks, and sneakers

• ALL tryouts will be held at LMS and will be from 3:00 - 4:25 pm

• LATE BUSES are at 4:30

Liberty Middle School’s Cheer team is an inclusive program open to all students in 7th and 8th grade. Our goal is to build comradery, enhance cheerleading skills, and to promote school spirit through participation in school events and games. Safety and academic excellence are priorities, with a focus on personal growth and community engagement. We strive to foster confidence in all members and look forward to an amazing season ahead! 

Practice:

• The LMS cheer team practices Monday - Thursday. There are no weekend commitments.

• There are no practices on half days, days school is closed, and inclement weather. Everyone will be notified via announcements if practice is canceled and should go home on their regularly scheduled bus.  

• Attendance is required and expected unless communicated via player or parent before the practice. We will run a Cheer Google Classroom for all communication: 2uuhzi5

• All athletes are REQUIRED to take the late buses home unless a parent is at LMS for pick up. If the late buses are about to leave and YOUR ride is not at LMS you MUST ride the late buses home.

Games: 

• Home games are played at LMS in the gym. There will be one away game that the cheerleaders will travel to attend. 

• Games begin at 4pm and typically end around 5:15.

• Parents are responsible for transportation after Home games. A Bus will take athletes home (Back to LMS) from away games and parents must pick their child up upon returning to LMS unless a Transportation sheet is signed off to take athletes home from away games.

• Game schedule will be posted in Google Classroom
