Softball

Tryouts:

• TRYOUTS will begin 3/18 (Listen to announcements for further information regarding Grade Level)

• Players should bring t-shirt, sweats, socks, Glove, and cleats (or sneakers)

• ALL tryouts will be held at LMS and will be from 3:00 - 4:25 pm

• LATE BUSES are at 4:30

The LMS girls softball program is competitive and players benefit immensely from the positive culture of our program and in developing their softball ability. More importantly, the athletes grow a connection to their peers and the school community. We are excited for the upcoming season!! 

Practice:

• The LMS girls softball team practices Monday - Thursday. There are no weekend commitments.

• There are no practices on half days, days school is closed, and inclement weather. Girls will be notified via announcement  if practice is canceled and should go home.  

• Attendance is required and expected unless communicated via player or parent before the practice. We will run a Softball Google Classroom for all communication.

• All athletes are REQUIRED to take the late buses home unless your parent is at LMS to pick you up.  If the late buses are about to leave and YOUR ride is not at LMS you MUST ride the late buses home.

Games: 

• Home games are played at LMS field located behind the school. 

• Games begin at 4pm and typically end around 5:15.

• Parents are responsible for transportation after Home and Away Games.  A Bus will take athletes home (Back to LMS) from away games and parents must pick their child up upon returning to LMS unless a Transportation sheet is signed off to take athletes home from away games.

• Game schedule will be posted in Google Classroom
