Tryout Dates and Important Information
Tryouts:
Tryouts will take place that first week of practice starting on Monday, March 18th.
Students will be divided into groups based on their grade level. Group assignments will be communicated to the students.
Final roster will be posted Friday, March 22nd.
Those who do not have in the physical forms and are cleared for the team will NOT be able to participate on the team.
Players should bring t-shirt, athletic bottoms (appropriate length shorts/pants), socks, sneakers student can run in
ALL tryouts will be held at LMS and will be from 3:00 - 4:25 pm
LATE BUSES are at 4:30
The LMS Track & Field program is competitive and players benefit immensely from the positive culture of our program and in developing their skills in the way of strength and conditioning. More importantly, the athletes grow a connection to their peers and the school community. We look forward to the upcoming season.
Practice Schedule and Information
Practice:
LATE BUSES are at 4:30, so practice will finish by that time
The LMS Track & Field team practices Monday - Thursday. There are no weekend commitments.
There are no practices on half days, days school is closed, and or inclement weather days. Athletes will be notified via announcements within the school day over the loudspeaker and or via Google Classroom if practice is canceled and that they should go home.
Attendance is required and expected unless communicated via player or parent before the practice.
All athletes are REQUIRED to take the late buses home unless your parent is at LMS to pick you up. If the late buses are about to leave and YOUR ride is not at LMS, you MUST ride the late buses home.
Game Schedule and Information
Games:
Home meets are located at the WOHS Track.
Meets begin at 4pm unless the schedule says otherwise.
Parents are responsible for transportation after meets. A bus will take athletes to and from meets and parents must pick their child up upon returning to LMS unless a Transportation Form is signed off to take athletes home from any meets.
Meet/Practice schedules will be posted in Google Classroom and updated regularly.
