Patterns takens from a 16th century Italian piece in the Victoria & Albert museum in London.
Done in an arrangement pleasing to me. As it is my first blackwork piece, so I chose an unconventional format that will hold my interest long enough to get a finish. When complete, it will have 5 hexes each with a different pattern, and will have a matching border on the bottom.
