Robotics Summer Camp

Westford Academy Ghost Robotics is excited to be hosting an Electronics Camp this summer! Run and taught by students from Westford Academy’s award-winning robotics team, students from the rising 6th to rising 9th grade classes aspiring to become engineers, interested in robotics, or just looking for something exciting to do over the summer will have the opportunity to dive deep into the world of electronics. It will take place in the week of July 22 to 26. Using microcontrollers called Arduinos, campers will be able to further their programming skills and learn how to integrate coding into the physical world by experimenting with wires, resistors, motors, sensors, and a wide variety of other circuitry. For those more interested in the mechanical side of engineering, campers will be able to design components of their projects in 3D computer-aided design software which will be brought to life using the 3D printers at WA. We hope to see your child at camp this summer for a fun, electrifying, and informative week of robotics! This camp will cost $350 for the first child, and $280 for all further children enrolled from the same family.

WA Robotics will also, for the first time, be running a second camp. Running from July 29 to August 2, there will be a more heavily robotics focused camp. This camp will be more in depth than the first week and will have students creating robots to complete complex tasks and challenges. The same age group is allowed to enroll, and you can enroll for each week separately or together, depending on what works with your schedule. This camp will be more technically challenging, and is targeted at students who are especially interested in FIRST robotics. This camp will cost $420 for the first child, and $400 for each further child enrolled from the same family.

To enroll for either camp, sign up with this link:  https://forms.gle/MKv8NEKJkq3ij32EA

In case of too many signups we will create a waitlist and if a child decides that they do not wish to attend the camp the first child on the waitlist will be offered a spot in the camp.
