School by School Improvements

Bond Question 1

• Replace unit ventilators that provide heating, ventilation, and cooling to individual classrooms; a building management system to further improve HVAC efficiency. 

• Renovate student restrooms.

• Reconfigure drop-off loop to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety.  

• Convert existing space to better serve students who use Support Services and small-group instruction. 

• Add a new Multi-Purpose Room because the current school population already stretches the lunch/PE capacity of the existing gym. 

• Expand the playground area alongside the existing ball field.

• Build an addition with five classrooms that are key to the expansion to Full Day Kindergarten.

• Build an addition to house classrooms for special education and individualized instruction and to relocate/modernize the Wood Shop, which is currently located near the center of the building where space, electrical access and material logistics continually limit this program.
