The required physical education curriculum is based on the Physical Education standards of the Rhode Island Physical Education framework: supporting physically active lifestyles through quality physical education as promulgated by the Rhode Island department of education and consistent with the instructional outcomes therein.

Our curriculum consists of General Content, which is reflected in "A Year at a Glance" document(posted as a sub page here). Or, our content is listed in the ACTIVITIES section. The content sections of the curriculum include Unit Plans, which reflect standards, understandings, essential questions, knowledge, skills, learning plans, and assessment tools. The curriculum also contains lesson plans which reflect specific methodologies, best practices, activity protocols, lesson outcomes, rubrics, and assessment strategies.

The entire curriculum is comprehensive and technical and not posted here. However, and in compliance with State law(16-22), upon written request, a pupil not less than eighteen (18) years of age or a parent or legal guardian of a pupil less than eighteen (18) years of age, within a reasonable period of time after the request is made, shall be permitted to examine the curriculum program instruction materials at the school in which his or her child is enrolled. But one must promise to read it.
