PowerTeacher Pro MS/HS FAQ

·                  There is a 50 character limit on assignments that sync from Canvas to PowerSchool. If you notice an assignment that isn't appearing in PowerSchool from Canvas, check to make sure the assignment name is less than 50 characters

·                  If you have removed an assignment from Canvas, it does not remove from PowerSchool Automatically. You will need to go into the assignment menu of your course in PowerTeacher Pro and manually remove the assignment

·                  Please make sure your Grade Sync is turned onto a nightly sync within Canvas. This can be found by going to the Grade Sync menu on the left navigation. Once that menu is open, open the Utilities submenu, and make sure Nightly Grade Sync is checked. You can also force a sync by clicking Remaster Grades from this page.

·                  Please make sure all grades have due dates, and are put into an Assignment Category (i.e. ASMT, MISC, etc.)     When adding a comment to a report card, ONLY USE the comment code (I.E. S01, S02) . Do not add full comments.  Below is the key for the comment codes used on the report card. A comment code legend will be printed as well on the student report card.
