Mentoring at the Academies of WASD
Because we believe in mentoring, we set aside time in each school day for this work. During mentoring time, the mentor groups come together to ensure belonging, build community, and empower one another to grow and learn. Mentors serve as a first point of contact for mentees and their families. And mentees depend on one another to help them get through high school.
Let’s define mentoring a bit more and get clear on what it isn’t:
