Use this set of virtual flashcards on Quizlet to practice and take this Google quiz to test yourself on the 11 words for body parts in Spanish that we learned on Wednesday.

We had a live Zoom lesson on Wednesday, April 29th in which we learned the basic body parts' names in Spanish.

jueves, el 16 de abril / Thursday, April 16th:

If you DIDN'T attend yesterday's Zoom meeting, please review these slides. We learned the verb "gustar" (to like) and the question "¿Te gusta _?" and the answers "Sí, me gusta _" (Yes, I like _) and "No, no me gusta _" (No, I don't like).

If you DID attend the Zoom meeting, please:

• Re-watch the video "¿Te gusta el helado de brócoli?" (Do you like broccoli ice cream?); and
• Complete this Google form to tell me what you like and don't like.

Optional Spring Break Activities (el 30 de marzo - el 10 de abril / March 30 - April 10):

• Sing any or all of the songs on the 2nd-3rd songs page.
• Continue practicing numbers 0-30 - in order, backwards, and out of order.
• Practice greetings, basic color words, days & months, family words, verbs, animal vocabulary, or time (:00 and :30) expressions. I have put them all on a "Wesley 3rd Grade Spanish" Quizlet page.

miércoles, el 25 de marzo / Wednesday, March 25th:

• Practice these 12 verbs using this Quizlet vocabulary set. There are virtual flashcards, self-assessments, writing practice, and games.
• Once you know these words, test yourself using this Google form/quiz. You can keep taking it until you get 100%.

lunes, el 23 de marzo / Monday, March 23rd:

• Sing along with the song "Hola amigos" by Basho. Teach the song (along with the hand movements!) to a parent, a sibling, or a stuffed animal.
• Make flashcards using scrap paper or index cards to practice numbers 0 - 30 (forwards, backwards, and out of order). Parents can use this Quizlet set if they don't know these numbers. It includes virtual flashcards and audio for pronunciation.
• Choose a storybook from the Tiempo de Leer YouTube channel to have read aloud to you. Choose a book whose story you already know in English.
