Lesson 3: Adding value to A4 paper

Students use their creativity to produce a product using a piece of A4 paper and then present their product to the class in the style of an infomercial.

Learning Objective: To be creative by adding value to a piece of A4 paper

Resources: A4 paper (1 per student), Felt pens, scissors, glue, sellotape, stapler

Activity instructions:

Give students a piece of A4 paper and access to other resources listed above.

Give students 20 minutes to create a product using their piece of A4 paper.

After this time students are to present their product to the class in the style of an infomercial.

You may need to decide on what is to be included in their infomercial (eg product name, target market, benefits to the customer, price).
