Decision Grid

Decision Grid

Students think about criteria that need to be considered if the best decision is to be made.

 Do we have the time to organise and make the product/s we like?

 Can we get all the resources we need to make the product/s and service/s we like?

 Do we like the product/service enough to make it?

 Do we have enough start-up money to buy the resources from the warehouse?

 Will people buy it on market day?

Now use a numbering system to rate each choice against a criteria, for example, using the numbers 1 – 5.

Step 1:

Moving across the row, rate each criteria against every product idea. If you really like it, give it a high score such as 5, if it is so, then a 3, and if you don’t really like it 1.

Step 2:

After completing all the criteria, add up the numbers in the columns. The highest number/s will be your best choice/s.
