Decision Grid
Decision Grid
Students think about criteria that need to be considered if the best decision is to be made.
Do we have the time to organise and make the product/s we like?
Can we get all the resources we need to make the product/s and service/s we like?
Do we like the product/service enough to make it?
Do we have enough start-up money to buy the resources from the warehouse?
Will people buy it on market day?
Now use a numbering system to rate each choice against a criteria, for example, using the numbers 1 – 5.
Step 1:
Moving across the row, rate each criteria against every product idea. If you really like it, give it a high score such as 5, if it is so, then a 3, and if you don’t really like it 1.
Step 2:
After completing all the criteria, add up the numbers in the columns. The highest number/s will be your best choice/s.
