Fishing Trip To Donate Fish To Orphanage

  • Recognise and consider the ethics of choices and actions

  • Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance

  • Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

I, my schoolmates, and my school principal went on a fishing trip to Sattahip which is in the East of Thailand. We had stayed on a Fishing boat overnight solely to catch fish. This was my first time fishing so it was a new experience for me and I had really enjoyed it. In the beginning, it was tough catching fish, however, I eventually got the hang of it and had developed a new skill. At the end of the trip, we ended up donating all the fish we caught (which was over 50 fish) to a local children's orphanage at the place we were at. In the end, I felt great helping those children and I would definitely do it again.
