Like last year, I attended the ServICE 2023 Conference at NIST. It was an overall insightful experience that allowed me to meet some new people and reunite with some friends. Making and designing bracelets with RoyRak, an organisation that seeks to support impoverished people in Klong Toei through marketing their transferable skills, was very interesting for me as it allowed me to not only experience what it was like to make bracelets but also use my creativity to think of designs as well. Furthermore, it taught me about patience and allowed me to feel a deeper appreciation for the effort the artists put into making each bracelet.
