I spent about 10 weeks of every Saturday at the ROTC center and also spent 3 days and 2 nights in an army base during my time in the ROTC. My experience in the ROTC has really helped me develop as a person, as my instructors taught me about discipline and many other forms of self development. I understood about how battle works during the night time, and as well as understanding many different tactics that they have taught me.

My time at Ror Dor has helped me develop strengths both mentally and physically through activities they organize. I was also able to demonstrate and develop new skills they taught, such as marching and other military movement positioning,

Hiking in Hawaii

1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

Throughout my 2 month stay in Hawai'i, there were many activities that I participated in, and one of my favorite is hiking the various trails and mountains that existed on the island of Oahu. My friends and I hiked trails such as the Lighthouse trail, Koko head, Diamond head, and many more. What I learnt in this activity is how tiring it is and some of them really were challenging to finish as they were quit steep like Koko head and Diamond head. It was really fun and I had a great experience with my friends, especially taking very nice pictures of ourselves once we reached the end of the trails, as they were usually located at a very scenic play. It has helped me in the form of exercise and improving my hiking skills.

I was able to develop areas of growth by improving my hiking skills especially on trails with complex terrain, like in Koko Head. I showed commitment to CAS as we were going hiking for over a month almost once a week during my trip in Hawai'i.
