PAWS uses the Second Step program to teach social skills. This program is a research-based social-emotional program. Young children who can listen, pay attention, remember directions, and control their behavior will benefit more from preschool and be better prepared for kindergarten. The newest Second Step early learning program teaches self-regulation and executive-functioning skills that help children learn and skills to manage their feelings, make friends, and solve problems. Short daily activities include Brain Builder games, songs, and puppets your children will love.
