Preschool 9 is housed at Fiske Elementary School, but is part of P.A.W.S.

Preschool 9 is a full-day integrated preschool classroom for four- and five-year-olds the year before they will enter kindergarten.

Important Information to know:

Schedule: M, T, TH, F 8:45-2:45

*We follow the Wellesley Public School calendar with the exception of start dates (We typically have a later start date to help parents that may have children in other schools in the district).

*Snow days are according to the Wellesley Public School District.

*Parent visits are always welcome! Please notify me in advance, as I may have other visitors scheduled. There will be opportunities during the year for you to come in for an activity or to read a story. If you would like to observe the class, you will need to be accompanied by 'Becca or Devon.

* We have one listening conference and two parent conferences and you will receive two progress reports during the school year.

*Children are not allowed to accompany parents for parent-teacher conferences or Team meetings. We are also NOT able to provide child care for these meetings. Please make arrangements prior to the meeting with a family-member, babysitter, friend, or another parent in the P.A.W.S. community to care for your child while you attend the meetings.

*Periodically, I may share a wish list for items needed for the classroom or ask a room parent to coordinate volunteers. You are not required to donate, but we appreciate your generosity.

* Birthday Celebrations: Due to food allergy concerns, we will not be able to have children bring in food for birthdays. We will send home a Birthday Book for the children to complete and bring back in to share with the class. We also sing "Happy Birthday" to each child, as a class.
