Hello and Welcome! 👋

Through the SEA-Teacher Program, I began a meaningful journey as a prospective mathematics educator from Indonesia. As a Mathematics Education student at Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta, this program gave me the opportunity to experience teaching and learning in the Philippines, particularly at the secondary school level.

During my participation, I have gained many valuable experiences that have contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth. I have developed my pedagogical skills, strengthened my time management, and boosted my confidence in using English as a medium of instruction. Teaching mathematics in a different educational environment has challenged me to be more adaptive, creative, and reflective in delivering lessons.

This experience also allowed me to observe and understand the differences and similarities between the Indonesian and Philippine education systems. I learned how cultural values influence teaching approaches, classroom interactions, student learning styles, and collaboration, making this journey truly unforgettable.

Overall, this program has shaped me not only as a prospective mathematics teacher but also as a globally minded educator who values diversity
