My name is Najwa Lelya Mawarda, and I am from Indonesia. I am currently an undergraduate student at Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta, majoring in Mathematics Education.
Through my studies, I developed a strong interest in teaching. For me, teaching is not only about sharing knowledge, but also about learning together, growing, and building positive interactions in the classroom. I believe education plays an important role in shaping the way people think and prepare for the future.
I was grateful to be selected as a participant of the SEA Teacher Program Batch 11 and assigned to West Visayas State University in Iloilo City, Philippines. This experience gave me the opportunity to teach in an international environment, adapt to different classroom situations, and learn from diverse educational cultures.
From this program, I gained valuable experience in cross-cultural communication, teaching skills, and personal growth. I hope this journey will help me become a more open-minded and globally-oriented educator.
