Hello, Third Grade Explorers! 

My name is Ms. Lacouture, and I am so excited for another great year of 3rd grade at White Oak! This is my 6th year of teaching, and third year teaching 3rd grade! I taught in Florida for 3 years before I moved here two years ago. I have experience teaching Kindergarten, 4th grade, and 5th grade. I graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Certificate of Community Engagement. I am also certified in reading and English as a second language (ESOL). 

In my free time I enjoy going on long walks and exploring new cities and restaurants. I've enjoyed getting to explore my new state this past year and hope to find more great spots around the area. If you have any recommendations, I would love to know! 

I love working with my students to help them grow both academically and personally. Teaching has been my dream job since I was a little girl. It is a joy and a pleasure to work with my students every day. I look forward to having an awesome year!
