Over the course of the 2020-21 academic year, the KHSCD MTAC will gather data on professional learning needed and desired by our staff. We will use this data to provide differentiated professional learning sessions intensively at the beginning of the year and moving to a once-per-month minimum as the staff comfort level with technology increases. In some capacity, we will work with 100% of the departments and over 50% of certified staff.

Learning platforms will remain available asynchronously, via face-to-face or virtual. MTAC will evaluate and revise the website to ensure families, students, and staff can access the resources they need. MTAC will help staff provide families with step-by-step instructions on how to access classes and support teachers in meeting families virtually. MTAC will work with other School Improvement Team subcommittees to determine how to help families support remote learning and to post or link tutorial videos on the school website. MTAC will guide professional learning for teachers to support this process and promote student engagement and achievement.
