School Enrollment Information: During the 2021-2022 school year, 1664 students attended Holly Grove Middle School. Approximately 100 of those students attended school virtually in the wake of the global pandemic.

Curriculum and Instruction: A strong library program connects students to the world around them through research and inquiry, and by supporting climate of reading. These connections are made through collaborative lessons and programming that integrate information and technology skills with classroom curriculum, through the curation of relevant and reliable print and digital resources, and by empowering students in the 4C's.
Data Privacy: A strong school library program promotes and advocates for student data privacy by providing instruction in data privacy to students and staff and by prioritizing data privacy issues when evaluating digital tools for student use.

Curriculum and Instruction: Media coordinator will collaborate with Social Studies teachers in all three grades to integrate the inquiry strand added to the curriculum in 2021 that asks students to inquire, think critically, evaluate sources, use evidence, communicate, and solve problems. These skills will be combined into an inquiry project at least twice during the year.
Activities/Actions
Attend SS PLT Meetings for 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade.
Collaborate with PLTs to design instruction that integrates inquiry skills.

MTAC/Media Coordinator will advocate for and promote student data privacy and ethical use of resources by providing monthly K9 lessons for students and disseminating information regarding student data privacy and WCPSS policies through quarterly MTAC meetings.
