For the 2019-2020 school year, the MTAC will continue to use the results of the previous year's audit to drive collection development decisions. The student MTAC will continue to advise on collection development and programming decisions in order to amplify historically marginalized voices, and promote literature and informational texts that reflect the lives, experiences, and interests of all students.
Over the course of the 2019-2020 academic year, our media program will integrate strategies learned by attending training at the district level focused on creating engaging and equitable libraries.
Over the course of the 2019-2020 academic year, our media coordinator will integrate research skills and inquiry based lessons into student instruction in the area of Social Studies by attending Social Studies PLTs, and collaborating with teachers.
